About Us
The Airport Over 50’s Club has been operational for over 40 years. West Torrens City Council kindly allow us use of a venue in the form of a community hall to facilitate our activities.
We are managed by a committee elected by members and are required to self fund the operation of the club. We do this by charging an annual membership fee of $20 and a session attendance cost of a low $4 for many morning or afternoon sessions. Keep Fit costs $7 per session and Zumba $7.

Volunteering:
Volunteering at our Seniors Club is open to anyone who is semi-retired or retired from the workforce. By volunteering just a few hours each week, you can make new friends, learn new skills, and enjoy being part of a welcoming community of like-minded individuals.
Volunteer opportunities can be short-or long-term. If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity, please email the Club at info@airportover50club.org.au.
The Club currently has two vacancies on its Executive Committee: Vice President and Secretary. These roles are ideal for individuals who are committed and dedicated to supporting the President and Committee Members in the day-to-day running of the Club, ensuring it operates in accordance with its Constitution, rules and policies.

We have a membership of approximately 400 and are keen to welcome more new members. We provide lots of activities including keeping fit for seniors, Zumba gold, table tennis, pool/billiards, indoor bowls, mah-jong, line dancing and others. We would love to offer more activities such as sing along sessions, art classes, scrap booking, card making and are always looking for volunteers who can bring their ideas and energy to the club.
Every other month, the Club offers BBQ lunches on a Saturday at a very low cost of $10 per person for Members and Non Members welcome. We also organise external lunches at a local venue and bus trips during the year to various SA destinations. Check our website under Events, to keep up to date with our social calendar.
